To converse with the tranquil site’s rural chaparral landscape, a new exterior wrapping the 4,800 s.f. home features natural materials such as clear cedar siding, stacked stone, and terraced wood decks, updating the structure with modern warmth. A dramatic Zen entry opens towards the hillside, allowing natural light to flood the interior.

The architectural renovation also encompasses a commercial Kitchen scaled for entertaining by the professional chef owner, and an extensive new Master Suite.
